Abstrak

Penerapan model teaching factory dapat mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan model pembelajaran teaching factory terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan analisis menggunakan uji One-Way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh perbedaan yang signifikan antara berbagai model penerapan teaching factory terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Model pendidikan dan pelatihan berbasis produksi dan model penempatan pendidikan kooperatif terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkakan kesiapan kerja dibandingkan model usaha berbasis sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kedua model tersebut lebih tepat diterapkan untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan dan soft skills siswa agar siap dalam menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja.

The implementation of the teaching factory model can affect the work readiness of vocational high school students. This study aims to analyze the comparison of the teaching factory learning model on the work readiness of students at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires and analysis using the One-Way ANOVA test. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences between the various teaching factory implementation models on students' work readiness. The production-based education and training model and the cooperative education placement model have proven to be more effective in increasing work readiness than the school-based business model. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that both models are more appropriate to be applied to develop students' skills and soft skills so they are ready to face the demands of the world of work.
