MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI MEDIA INTERAKTIF “KAHOOT” PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students’ activeness in learning Mathematics through the use of the interactive media Kahoot. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class X-10. The object of the research was students’ learning activeness, which included the ability to ask questions, express opinions, answer questions, participate in discussions, and show enthusiasm during the learning process. The research instruments used were observation sheets and student activeness questionnaires. The data analysis technique applied was descriptive quantitative using percentage. The results of the study showed that the implementation of Kahoot could enhance students’ activeness in learning. This was proven by the increase from the pre-action result of 48%, rising to 63% in cycle I, and reaching 78% in cycle II. Thus, the use of Kahoot is effective in improving students’ activeness in Mathematics learning.
