Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik kelas VII di SMP Frater Don Bosco Tomohon. Dalam masa penyesuaian penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar ini, terdapat banya sekali upaya yang dilakukan agar kualitas pembelajaran semakin meningkat dengan penerapan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa (student center learning). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif yang menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana untuk menguji hipotesis yang dikemukakan, dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan untuk nilai signifikansi adalah 0,078  dengan R square adalah sebesar 0,737. Semoga melelui hasil penelitian ini pihak sekolah memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai seberapa pentingnya pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang dikelola oleh guru menyesuaikan dengan situasi dan kebutuhan siswa dalam prose peningkatan minat belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik.

ABSTRACT

This research aims to see how much influence the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum has on students' interest in learning in class VII Catholic Religious Education subjects at Brother Don Bosco Middle School, Tomohon. During this period of adjustment to the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum, many efforts have been made to improve the quality of learning by implementing student-centered learning. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach that uses simple regression analysis to test the hypothesis put forward. From the results of this research it was found that the significance value was 0.078 with an R square of 0.737. Hopefully, through the results of this research, the school will gain a deeper understanding of how important it is to develop learning strategies managed by teachers according to the situation and needs of students in the process of increasing interest in learning Catholic Religious Education subjects.
