HUBUNGAN KECEPATAN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN DRIBBLING DALAM PERMAINAN SEPAK BOLA PADA TIM WAIMANA PUTRA

Abstrak

This research seeks to identify and elucidate the connection between speed and dribbling abilities in football, particularly within the Waimana Putra team. To achieve this, a quantitative research methodology was employed. The participants in the study comprised 11 football players from Waimana Putra. Data collection was conducted through a 40-meter sprint test alongside a dribbling speed assessment. The analysis of the data involved a comparison of pre-test and post-test outcomes for both the 40-meter sprint and dribbling speed. The data analysis presented in Table 5 indicates a chi-square value of 0.597 with 30 degrees of freedom (df). According to the criteria for hypothesis testing, if χ² calculated exceeds χ² critical, the data distribution is deemed non-normal; conversely, if χ² calculated is less than χ² critical, the data distribution is considered normal. Given that 0.597 is less than 16.919, the data are regarded as normally distributed. As a result, the previously mentioned hypothesis—that a relationship exists between speed and dribbling skills in football for the Waimana Putra team—can be investigated. The hypothesis testing criterion states that if the calculated r (correlation coefficient) surpasses the critical r (table value), then H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted; if the calculated r is below the critical r, then H₀ is accepted and H₁ is rejected.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan hubungan anatara kecepatan terhadap keterampilan dribbling dalam permainan sepak bola pada Tim Waimana Putra. Oleh karena itu, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode uji korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pemain Waimana Putra dengan sampel sebanyak 11 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pada rentang usia dari 17-25 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes lari 40 meter dan tes keterampilan dribbling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik berupa uji normalitas dan uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara kecepatan dengan keterampilan dribbling dalam permainan sepak bola pada tim Waimana Putra. Berdasarkan analisis statistik, ditemukan bahwa r hitung < r tabel, dimana r hitung sebesar 0,124 dan r tabel sebesar 0,521. Dengan demikian H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak.
