PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS KELAS III DI MI SABILAL MUHTADIN BALIKPAPAN

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of the Picture and Picture learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of science for grade III at MI Sabilal Muhtadin Balikpapan. The Picture and Picture model is a visual-based cooperative learning approach that aims to improve conceptual understanding in a concrete and interesting way through the use of images. This study used a quantitative method with a population of all grade III students and involved 15 respondents. The main instrument was a learning outcome test, and the data were analyzed using normality tests and simple linear regression. The results of the analysis showed that the data were normally distributed and the regression model was significant, with a t-count value (5.879) greater than the t-table (1.796), and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 72.7%. This indicates that the Picture and Picture model has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. Thus, this model is recommended as an alternative effective learning strategy in improving student understanding, especially in the subject of science at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Picture and Picture terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas III di MI Sabilal Muhtadin Balikpapan. Model Picture and Picture merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis visual yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep secara konkret dan menarik melalui penggunaan gambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas III dan melibatkan 15 responden. Instrumen utama berupa tes hasil belajar, dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan model regresi signifikan, dengan nilai t-hitung (5,879) lebih besar dari t-tabel (1,796), serta koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 72,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model Picture and Picture memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, model ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS di jenjang Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
