ANALISIS PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA PADA MATERI PERSAMAAN KUADRAT KELAS X DI SMK AL BASYARIAH BOGOR

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada soalessay penilaian akhir semester mengenai materi persamaan kuadrat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan siswa kelas X MPLB - 4 SMK Al Basyariah. Pengumpulan data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Dari 7 sampel siswa, ditemukan bahwa pada soal nomor 32 terdapat 6 siswa dengan persentase 18,75% masuk kepada kategori tinggi, 14 siswa dengan persentase 43,75% dalam kategori sedang, serta 12 siswa dengan persentase 37,5% dalam kategori rendah. Selain itu, pada soal nomor 33 terdapat 11 siswa dengan persentase 34,375% masuk kepada kategori tinggi, 20 siswa dengan persentase 62,5% dalam kategori sedang, serta 1 siswa dengan persentase 3,125% dalam kategori rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika yang dimiliki siswa kelas X MPLB – 4 di SMK Al Basyariah dalam menyelesaikan soal persamaan kuadrat tergolong sedang atau cukup

This research aims to determine students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in end-of- semester assessment essay questions regarding quadratic equations. This type of research is descriptive qualitative involving students of class X MPLB - 4 SMK Al Basyariah. Research data collection was obtained from interviews, observations and documentation studies. From the 7 student samples, it was found that in question number 32 there were 6 students with a percentage of 18.75% in the high category, 14 students with a percentage of 43.75% in the medium category, and 12 students with a percentage of 37.5% in the low category.
