Career Center merupakan unit strategis di perguruan tinggi yang berfokus pada peningkatan kesiapan karier mahasiswa dan alumni dalam menghadapi dunia kerja modern. Melalui layanan seperti konseling karier, pelatihan soft skills, job fair, serta pemetaan potensi mahasiswa, Career Center berperan penting dalam menjembatani dunia akademik dengan dunia profesional. Selain itu, alumni memiliki kontribusi besar dalam memperkuat jaringan profesional, memberikan informasi peluang kerja, serta memberikan umpan balik terhadap peningkatan mutu perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan menelaah berbagai jurnal ilmiah, laporan perguruan tinggi, serta sumber resmi lainnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan Career Center dan pengelolaan hubungan alumni yang efektif dapat meningkatkan daya saing lulusan, reputasi kampus, serta pembangunan ekosistem karier berkelanjutan. Meski demikian, terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan SDM, minimnya partisipasi mahasiswa–alumni, dan belum maksimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi berkelanjutan antara perguruan tinggi, dunia industri, dan alumni dalam memperkuat sistem layanan karier di kampus.
Career Centers serve as strategic units in higher education institutions that focus on improving career readiness for students and alumni in facing the demands of the modern labor market. Through services such as career counseling, soft-skill development, job fairs, and career assessment programs, Career Centers effectively bridge the gap between academic life and professional environments. Alumni also play a vital role in strengthening professional networks, providing employment opportunities, and contributing valuable feedback to enhance the quality of higher education institutions. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing relevant scientific journals, university reports, and other credible sources. The findings indicate that effective development of Career Center programs and alumni engagement improves graduate competitiveness, enhances institutional reputation, and builds a sustainable career ecosystem. However, challenges remain, including limited human resources, low participation from students and alumni, and suboptimal technology utilization. Therefore, continuous collaboration between universities, industry partners, and alumni is necessary to strengthen career development services within higher education.
