MANAJEMEN ASRAMA DALAM MENUMBUHKAN KARAKTER MANDIRI DAN TANGGUNG JAWAB SANTRIWATI MA MU’ALLIMAT NWDI PANCOR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen asrama berperan dalam menumbuhkan karakter mandiri dan tanggung jawab pada santriwati di MA Mu’allimat NWDI Pancor. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya peran lembaga pendidikan berasrama dalam membentuk kepribadian dan karakter peserta didik, khususnya di era modern yang menuntut kemandirian serta rasa tanggung jawab yang tinggi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap pengelola asrama, guru pembina, serta santriwati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen asrama di MA Mu’allimat NWDI Pancor telah berjalan secara terstruktur melalui fungsi-fungsi manajemen, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Dalam praktiknya, pihak pengelola asrama menanamkan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan, kerja sama, dan tanggung jawab melalui kegiatan harian seperti piket kebersihan, jadwal ibadah, kegiatan belajar bersama, serta tanggung jawab pribadi dalam mengatur kebutuhan masing-masing. Selain itu, pembinaan karakter mandiri diwujudkan melalui kebiasaan mengatur waktu, mengurus kebutuhan pribadi tanpa ketergantungan, serta keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan sosial asrama. Kesimpulannya, penerapan manajemen asrama yang baik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter mandiri dan tanggung jawab santriwati. Asrama bukan hanya tempat tinggal, tetapi juga wadah pendidikan karakter yang efektif dalam menyiapkan santriwati menjadi individu yang berakhlak, mandiri, dan bertanggung jawab.
This study aims to determine how dormitory management plays a role in fostering independent and responsible character in female students at MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor. The background of this study is based on the important role of boarding educational institutions in shaping the personality and character of students, especially in the modern era that demands independence and a high sense of responsibility. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of dormitory managers, supervising teachers, and female students. The results of the study indicate that dormitory management at MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor has been running in a structured manner through management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. In practice, the dormitory management instills the values of discipline, cooperation, and responsibility through daily activities such as cleaning duty, prayer schedules, group study activities, and personal responsibility in managing each other's needs. Furthermore, fostering independent character is demonstrated through the habit of managing time, taking care of personal needs without dependence, and actively participating in dormitory social activities. In conclusion, the implementation of good dormitory management significantly influences the development of independent character and responsibility in female students. The dormitory is not only a place to live, but also an effective platform for character education in preparing female students to become moral, independent, and responsible individuals.
