PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PRESENTASI MODEL PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PJBL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS XI.4 SMA NEGERI MODEL TERPADU MADANI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yakni lisan maupun tertulis melalui penggunaan Media Presentasi dengan Model Project-Based Learning (PjBL). Jenis Penelitian ialah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian yakni siswa kelas XI.4 SMA Negeri Model Terpadu Madani yang berjumlah 36 orang. Instrumen Penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi kemampuan komunikasi lisan dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa secara keseluruhan hasil menunjukan bahwa pada siklus 2, kemampuan komunikasi lisan meningkat sebesar 44,44% dan kemampuan komunikasi tertulis meningkat sebesar 52,78% terhadap kondisi awal siklus 1 dan prasiklus. Strategi ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matemtais siswa melalui penggunaan media persentasi dengan model PjBL.
This study aims to improve students’ mathematical communication skills, both oral and written, through the use of presentation media integrated with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The type of research conducted is classroom action research (CAR), which consists of two cycles. The subjects of the study were 36 students of class XI.4 at SMA Negeri Model Terpadu Madani. The research instruments used included an observation sheet for assessing oral communication skills and a written test. The results of the study indicate that this strategy effectively enhanced students’ mathematical communication skills. In the second cycle, oral communication skills increased by 44.44%, and written communication skills increased by 52.78% compared to the initial conditions in the first cycle and the pre-cycle. Therefore, this strategy proved to be effective in improving students’ mathematical communication skills through the use of presentation media within the PjBL model.
