UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTU MEDIA KONKRET

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan adanya permasalahan yang menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar setelah menerapkan model Problem Based Learning berbantu media konkret pada pelajaran matematika. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas IV berjumlah 20 siswa 11 laki-laki dan 9 perempuan. Penelitian ini, Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. setiap siklus terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu Rencana, Pelaksanaan, Observasi, Refleksi dan pengambilan keputusan tindakan selanjutnya, dianalisis dengan menggunakan cara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil belajar pada pra siklus dengan persentase 40% atau 8 siswa yang tuntas dan memperoleh rata-rata 59, kemudian meningkat pada siklus I dengan persentase 60% atau 12 siswa yang tuntas dan memperoleh rata-rata 76. Meningkat pada siklus II dengan persentase 85% atau 15 siswa yang tuntas dan memperoleh rata-rata 89. Dapat disimpulkan dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning berbantu media konkret dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika.

This research was conducted with problems that showed low student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons. The aim of the research is to determine the increase in learning outcomes after applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by concrete media in mathematics lessons. The subjects of this research were 20 fourth grade students, 11 boys and 9 girls. This research, classroom action research, was carried out in two cycles. each cycle consists of four steps, namely Plan, Implementation, Observation, Reflection and decision making for the next action, analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. Learning outcomes in the pre-cycle with a percentage of 40% or 8 students who completed and obtained an average of 59, then increased in cycle I with a percentage of 60% or 12 students who completed and obtained an average of 76. Increased in cycle II with a percentage of 85% or 15 students who completed and obtained an average of 89. It can be concluded that applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by concrete media can improve mathematics learning outcomes.
