PENGEMBANGAN MODUL BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMADIRIAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMA PADA MATERI LITOSFER

This research is development research that aims to 1) determine the validity of the problem-based learning module based on material experts, media, and practitioners. 2) Determine the impact of using problem-based learning modules on increasing student independence in lithosphere material. 3) Determine the impact of using problem-based learning modules on improving student outcomes in lithosphere material. This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Jetis, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The subjects of the study were students in class X8. The design of this development research uses the Borg and Gall development model. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire and test techniques. Data analysis used the gain score test. Data analysis of conceptual understanding using a paired-sample T-test. The results of this research and development show that 1) media validators, material validators, and practitioners stated that the module is suitable for use in research. 2) This module can improve student independence. This product can be used as a learning support while helping students improve their independence and learning outcomes. Although this module can be used as an independent learning tool, teachers still need to accompany students during learning, especially on materials that need to be explored in depth.
